Marks will compete in the full series, running for Raybestos Rookie of the Year in 2008 with shared primary sponsorship from Crocs, Inc. and Construct Corps. Jason Overstreet will call the shots for Marks. He served as crew chief for Marks Truck Series debut and short schedule in 2007.

Marks has competed in four NCTS races, with a best finish of 8th at the season finale Ford 200 in Homestead, FL. The latest Californian to enter the Truck Series circuit cut his teeth in racing on the west coast, running sports cars and becoming a factory driver in the Rolex Series. In preparation for his Truck Series career, Marks competed full-time in ARCA RE/MAX Series. In 2007, he finished 5th in points and took the Kansas Speedway track qualifying record from Ryan Newman, earning his first ARCA RE/MAX career Pole award.
